 The 2025 National Children’s Month celebration, with the theme “OSAEC-CSAEM Wakasan: Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng Bata, Ipaglaban!”, brings attention to the urgent need to protect children from online abuse and exploitation. In a time when technology is part of everyday life, the risks that children face on the internet have become more serious. This theme reminds us that celebrating children also means creating safer spaces for them, both online and offline.



The government has taken important steps by strengthening laws and programs against OSAEC and CSAEM. There are ongoing efforts such as improved cyber monitoring, closer coordination with international partners, and the creation of child protection units. These actions show that the government recognizes how crucial it is to build strong systems that safeguard children in a digital world where abuse can happen quietly and quickly.
