Blog #4 My Reflection for the 1st Quarter

Image
My Reflection for the First Quarter The first quarter of this school year felt like a rollercoaster ride for me. There were ups and downs, wins and struggles, but when I look back, I realize how much I’ve grown not just as a student but also as a person. One thing I’ve really learned is the importance of effort and consistency. Even if I’m not perfect at everything, I noticed that when I try my best and give time to study, I actually improve. I also discovered that working with classmates during group activities made learning more fun and meaningful because I got to hear different ideas and share my own. Of course, it wasn’t always easy. I struggled with time management, especially when a lot of tasks and projects piled up all at once. There were moments when I felt stressed and even doubted if I could finish everything on time. But instead of giving up, I tried to take things step by step. I organized my activities, asked for help when needed, and reminded myself to take short b...

Blog #3 Sapat na Pagkain Karapatan Natin

Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin! This year’s Nutrition Month theme really struck me, "Food and Nutrition Security, Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!” It reminds me that food is not just about eating three times a day. It’s about having safe and healthy meals that give us strength. Sadly, many Filipinos still experience hunger, and that’s why this advocacy is important. Food should be seen as a right that everyone deserves. The goal is to make sure every Filipino has enough nutritious food and to raise awareness about why food security should be a priority in our families and communities.I was happy to join some activities in our school’s Nutrition Month celebration. I took part in the Nutri Jingle, which was a fun way to spread the message of healthy eating.  We also joined the Cooking Fest, where I learned how food can be both delicious and nutritious. These experiences made me realize that promoting nutrition can be fun and meaningful at the same time.Joining...

Blog #2 A letter to Mr. President

Image
A Letter to Pres. Marcos Jr. Dear President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., I hope this message reaches you not just as a formal letter but as a heartfelt voice of an ordinary citizen who cares deeply about our country. First of all, I want to say that I appreciate the efforts you and your administration are making. Leading a nation is never easy, especially when there are so many challenges to face such as rising prices, natural disasters, and the everyday struggles of Filipinos who just want a better life. I can only imagine the weight you carry on your shoulders each but, Mr. President, I also want to share my worries. Sometimes it feels like the problems of the common people are not always fully seen or heard. Many families are struggling to make ends meet, students are working hard to dream of a better future despite limited opportunities, and workers are giving their all yet still live paycheck to paycheck. These are the realities that keep us awake at night. I believe you have the power t...

Blog #1 Best Describes Me

Image
Best Describes Me Sometimes it’s hard to describe yourself in a positive way, but I’ve realized it’s actually a good exercise. It helps me see my strengths and reminds me that I’m capable of more than I think. If I were to describe myself, I’d say I’m someone who tries my best no matter what. I may not be perfect, but I’m hardworking and willing to learn from my mistakes. I value kindness and respect because I believe treating people well makes a big difference. One thing I’m proud of is that I don’t easily give up. Even if things get tough, I keep pushing through. Maybe that’s also why I enjoy football. I like how the game teaches teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. On the field, just like in life, you fall sometimes, but you always get back up and keep playing. Of course, I have weaknesses too, but I try to accept them and improve little by little. Writing this made me realize that confidence isn’t about being flawless. It’s about knowing who you are and believing in yourse...
