Vigan City Festival Every year, Vigan City becomes even more vibrant as it celebrates the Fiesta of the Conversion of St. Paul. The city feels warmer and more alive as people come together to honor their patron saint. Walking along the cobblestone streets during this time is a special experience. Heritage houses are decorated, music fills the air, and both locals and visitors share the excitement of the celebration. The fiesta is not only a religious event but also a joyful expression of Vigan’s rich culture and strong sense of community. Q3 Blog post #6 Reflection

REFLECTION QUARTER 3 This third quarter taught me a lot, not just about my subjects, but also about myself. I became better at expressing my thoughts in writing and learned how to understand lessons more deeply. I discovered that I can do more than I thought I could, especially when I really try. Little by little, I gained confidence in sharing my ideas and completing my tasks. I also realized that learning is not just about getting good grades, but about growing as a person. Of course, the journey was not always easy. There were times when I felt stressed because of many school requirements and deadlines. Some lessons were hard to understand, and I sometimes felt tired and unmotivated. Balancing schoolwork with my personal life was challenging, especially when everything seemed to happen at once. There were moments when I doubted myself and felt overwhelmed. To handle these challenges, I learned to be more patient with myself. I tried to organize my time better and focused on fi...

He was not just a hero written in history books — he was a man who truly loved his country and cared deeply about his fellow Filipinos. During the time of Spanish rule, many Filipinos were treated unfairly, and their voices were ignored. Rizal chose to speak up, not with weapons, but with his words and ideas. Rizal’s greatest contribution to Philippine society was helping Filipinos realize their own worth. Through his novels Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo, he showed the harsh reality of life under Spanish rule. The stories were painful, but they were honest. By reading them, Filipinos began to understand that what they were experiencing was not right, and that they deserved better. Rizal gave them the courage to question injustice. What makes Rizal even more inspiring is that he believed in peaceful change. He trusted education, dialogue, an...

Family is love, the heart of Christmas  Christmas, at its heart, is not just about decorations, gifts, or long holiday breaks. It is a season that gently reminds us to slow down and appreciate the people and moments we often take for granted. In the middle of all the noise and celebrations, Christmas brings a feeling of warmth and comfort that makes life feel a little lighter. What makes the season truly special is the way it encourages kindness.  A simple smile, a  heartfelt greeting, or sharing what little we have can brighten someone’s day. Christmas teaches us that giving does not always come in a box. It often comes through time, patience, and genuine care for others. The season also brings families and friends closer together. Late night conversations, shared meals, and familiar traditions remind us that being present matters more than perfection. These quiet and meaningful moments are what many of us remember long after the holidays are over. Reference: Blogg...
